Me Charles Belleau

generic-person-photoMe Charles Belleau acts as legal counsel for our law practice. He was called to the Barreau du Québec in 1976 and earned a Master degree in public law in 1982. He brings to the our firm his vast background and expertise in the field of securities. Now retired, he was a teacher at the Faculty of Law of the Ottawa University. He was teaching securities and priorities (mortgage, guarantees, loans and all other securities), to the students at the level of law bachelor and also taught at the school of the Barreau du Québec. When the enactment of Quebec’s new Civil Code, he taught securities and the publication of rights to the members of the Barreau du Québec and the magistracy (judges). From 1989 to 1996, he was the secretary of the Law Faculty (Civil Law department). From 1996 to 1998, he was and secretary and vice-dean. From 1997 to 1998, he was chairman of the Barreau du Québec of Hull. Since 1986, he is a member of the Equivalencies committee of the Barreau du Québec as well as the professional training and disciplinary committees since 1998.
