Me Jean-Charles Phillips

generic-person-photo Senior Partner, Jean-Charles Phillips was called to the Barreau du Québec in 1985. His law practice covers mainly civil litigation, business and construction law. He has a solid background and proven track-record in dealing with contracts both in the commercial and private sector, corporate and company constitution, structure and financing of companies, financial planning and execution of real estate and securities guarantees, miscellaneous commercial contracts and acquisition and sale of companies. Me Phillips has represented several times, as legal counsel, shareholders receiving funding, especially relating to the survey and verification of subscription agreement and shareholders agreement. Me Phillips has gained a wide experience in the implementation of mortgage securities and in legal mortgage for the construction sector. He currently teaches securities at the Barreau school. Me Phillips also has an extensive experience in drafting commercial sales contracts, construction sector contracts, commercial leases, acquisition and lease offer/counter-offer, assets and businesses sale, shareholders agreements, franchise agreements, general and specific contracts of guarantee. Our firm has acquired a proven knowledge and expertise in the management of co-properties and representations before the Régie du logement. Me Phillips served on the boards of several non-profit organizations and is still active on the boards of la Société Saint-Vincement de Paul of Hull and the Centre des Aînés de Gatineau.
